Where My Journey Begins

My name is Lauren Mendelsohn and I was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2020. I am the host of Our Strength Within. Over the course of this podcast I’d like to bring you along on this journey. I want to bring comfort to those going through something similar, share awareness about epilepsy and other invisible illnesses and shed light on the stresses brought to caregivers. In this episode, I discuss my goals for the podcast as well as share the story of my first seizure and the beginning of my epilepsy journey.
